How it works

At Rosalind Genetics, we believe that navigating genetic care should be simple. We’ve designed a streamlined process tailored for both patients and referring clinicians.

The Rosalind Genetics Process

Referral

Patients are referred by their GP or specialist, who provides relevant medical history and indications for testing. If they don’t have a referral, they can book an appointment with a Rosalind Genetics GP to get one.

Consultation

A dedicated genetic specialist conducts a thorough assessment via in-person or telehealth consultations, discussing medical history, family history, and potential genetic risks. These consultations are available outside usual business hours if required.

Testing

If appropriate, genetic testing is arranged through accredited laboratories, ensuring high-quality, reliable results.

Counselling & Results

Patients receive pre-test counselling to understand the potential outcomes, followed by post-test counselling to discuss findings and next steps.

Ongoing Support & Clinical Integration

We work closely with referring doctors and specialists to ensure genetic insights are effectively incorporated into patient care plans. Patients also receive guidance on follow-up care and lifestyle modifications.
